According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 58% Pakistanis agreed with the statement that Pakistan will make tremendous progress in the next ten years; only 9% disagreed.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, “To what extent do you agree or disagree with the following statement: ‘I am certain Pakistan will make tremendous progress in next ten years’?” Regarding Pakistan’s progress in the next ten years, 58% respondents said they agreed with the statement that Pakistan will make tremendous progress in the next ten years, while 30% somewhat agreed with the statement. On the other hand, 9% respondents disagreed with the statement and 3% did not respond.

Question: “To what extent do you agree or disagree with the following statement: ‘I am certain Pakistan will make tremendous progress in next ten years’?”

The source of GRF Poll was field work conducted by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International Association. The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International.

The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2538 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during December 1 – December 8, 2014. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
